Because apathy never helped anyone
The my world, my choice! program encourages students to take real action to benefit the sustainability of their schools. We are looking for the support of young professionals and post-secondary students, local schools and businesses to help make this happen. Here is how you can get involved:
job opportunities
Sometimes, with all the doom & gloom in the headlines about our environment and economy, it's all too easy to think that we can't make a difference.
We're here to show you that even the smallest, simplest, responsible choices can have a very large positive impact. It's up to you to make them.
young professionals/post-secondary student volunteers
Looking for a great learning experience? Always up for a new challenge? Want to make a difference?
You don't need to be an environmental expert, because we will provide you all the materials you will need to work with the students. All we need you to be is positive & passionate.
teachers/school staff
The school curriculum for sustainability seems to start and end with the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
We think a stronger awareness of the issues facing our world is needed now more than ever, and we are looking to work with Junior High schools that encourage that awareness.
