The my world my choice! program is an environmental education program designed to inspire responsible citizenship, action and provide students and communities with the tools to make sustainable decisions. With the success of the first run of the my world my choice! program, in Calgary and Guelph in 2009 and 2010, we are seeking a motivated team to run the program for the 2011/2012 year.
Please note, all positions are voluntary, however training, resources and personal develop opportunities will be provided. In some cases compensation will also be granted. Also time commitment may increase around key events during scheduled semesters.

Guelph: School Coordinator (3 positions)

The school coordinator is responsible for delivering the project to classrooms in Guelph.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinates the schedules of mentors with the participating classes.
- Build relations with teachers and administration and do follow up evaluations.
- Occasional classroom visits for quality control.
- Ensuring proper materials for each simulation/event are on hand.
- Constant communication with other School Coordinators to ensure a consistent delivery.
- Communicate with MWMC Campus Club.
A school coordinator should be a great communicator, be results focused and be approachable by other team members. Good organizational skills are a must and a passion for sustainability or environmental issues is an asset!

Guelph: Communications coordinator (2 positions)

The communications role is responsible for all outreach, media relations and external content. Organizing events and socials is also a key role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Media liaison.
- Managing web content.
- News letter development to be distributed to mentors on a continual basis.
- Maintaining the brand.
- Build partnerships in the community.
- Organizing events.
- Communicate with MWMC Campus Club.
Working as a team, the ideal candidates will have excellent writing and presentation skills and a strong desire to grow one's network. Logistics experience is an asset as well as website management and graphics design.

Guelph: campus club coordinator (1 positions)

The role of the campus club coordinator is to develop and lead the campus club. They will assist with planning and oversea the execution of our program. They are responsible for ensuring the delivery of school programs and various outreach events conducted by the my world, my choice! team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseas all aspects of the program.
- Consulting with the core team, develops a mwmc campus club.
- Ensures messages are distributed to the entire team and visa versa.
- Develops succession planning.
This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills. It is important that the incumbent is open to new ideas, strategic with planning, and willing to work with all levels of the organization.

Guelph: Mentor and events Coordinator (1 position)

The mentor coordinator is chiefly responsible for recruiting mentors, delivering trainings and coordinator logistics and events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting the program.
- Running a recruitment campaign.
- Training and coordinating mentors to run the program.
- Organizing ongoing training and events.
- Mentor promotions.
- Communicate with MWMC Campus Club.
The mentor coordinator will be approachable and have excellent organizational skills. This incumbent will work closely with the other coordinators. Logistics experience and presentation skills are a strong asset.

Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting the program.
- Feasibility study for succession planning.
- Partnership building across sectors.
- Outreach relationship development.
- Grant applications/Funding
- Communicate with MWMC Campus Club.
This incumbent will be approachable and have excellent professional communication skills. They will work closely with various organizations within the community and province. Business strategy and financial skills are an asset.

The role of the program development position is to ensure materials evolve and are communicated throughout the school programs and various outreach events conducted by my world, my choice!
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all required material for the organization.
- Ensuring that notes are taken at meetings.
- Developing new programs when needed.
- Distributing material to the entire team of mentors and partners.
- Communicate with MWMC Campus Club.
This position requires one to have excellent writing skills and a sense of creativity. It is important that the incumbent is flexible and willing to work with all levels of our organization.
